Healthy dip recipes

Fancy a snack? An easy dip recipe is a handy thing to know. These healthy dip recipes all contain fresh vegetables and greek yoghurt and I have also added a quick recipe for a flatbread you can serve warm alongside them if you feel like a change from crisps or crudités. These are also great to put out at a BBQ or before dinner. Enjoy!

Healthy dip recipes

Cucumber and dill tzatziki⁠ recipe

1/2 grated cucumber (squeeze out the excess water)⁠

1/2 lemon juice ⁠

200g plain yogurt ⁠

1 handful of chopped dill ⁠

Salt and pepper⁠

Add ingredients to a bowl, mix together and serve ⁠

Broad bean, pea and mint dip⁠ recipe

1 clove garlic, chopped and fried for 2/3 minutes ⁠

3 tablespoons olive oil ⁠

250g cooked broad beans⁠

250g cooked peas⁠

1/2 lemon juice and zest ⁠

1 tablespoon plain yogurt

1 handful of mint leaves, chopped finely

Salt and pepper ⁠

Blend ingredients together and serve. ⁠

Flatbreads (makes 3)⁠

100g plain yogurt⁠

100g self raising flour⁠

1/2 teaspoon baking powder⁠

Salt and pepper ⁠

Mix together the ingredients and gently knead. Separate into 3 portions and roll out into ovals 1 cm thick. Place on a tray under the grill for 3-4 minutes on each side and serve warm. ⁠
